Day Thirty-One

Yoga and Lifting
I skipped this part of the workout this morning. I went snowboarding yesterday and had a really rough Jujutsu practice, then stayed out for a beer. I will double-up on lifting tomorrow but today I needed the rest.

Jujutsu
I had an excellent workout. I flew through the Nage list and the throws are feeling very natural. Ward corrected my choke in Yama Arashi to be deeper and actually around the wind pipe. He also told me to leave my hands in neutral and let the sweep do everything in Deahi Harai. Finally, he told me to get my upper arm parallel to the floor on Seoi Nage.

I did the whole Goshin list and I am really starting to feel comfortable with the list. We finished with 30 minutes of ground work and I left all of my energy and a little bit of skin on the mat. Excellent workout, overall.
