Getting Published Workshop (Oct. 14)

Are you preparing your first paper for publication but don't know where to start? Have you been publishing, but want to find out which journals will maximize exposure to your research?

Let Walter Library help! Next Tuesday, October 14 from 1:30-2:30 in Walter 310, Math Librarian, Kris Fowler, will lead Getting Published: How to Publish Your Science Research Article, a workshop geared towards graduate students and newer faculty members seeking to publish their research.

Kris will cover the following topics:
• Identifying appropriate journals to submit your paper
• Managing your rights, protecting your access to your work when negotiating with publishers

This workshop is an opportunity to introduce yourself to some publishing issues and meet and share experiences with other publishing newcomers.
