Here's some news about the physical spaces in the Science and Engineering Library.

Shortened 4th of July Weekend Hours
The library will be having some unusual hours this coming weekend due to the 4th of July holiday.  Here's the schedule for the next few days (on Tuesday, July 5th we'll resume regular summer session hours).

Friday, July 2:  8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 3:  11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 4:  12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Monday, July 5:  CLOSED

Foundation Level Temporarily Closed
With the heavy rains of last Friday, Walter Library sustained a mini-flood on the foundation level.  All the books are safe but we've had to close the "F" level to the public while the water-damaged carpet and drywall get repaired.

You can still access the books--here's how:

To request books located on the foundation level, either use the Get It button in the MNCAT catalog or fill out a request form at a Walter circulation desk.

We hope to have the Foundation open again soon!

Walterquake!
We've been warned that Walter Library may feel vibrations throughout next week (Tuesday, July 6 - Friday, July 9) due to jackhammer usage in nearby construction.

Have a great 4th of July Weekend!
