2 men killed after car rolled into Mille Lacs Lake, alcohol may have been a factor

Two men were killed after their car rolled into a ditch on Highway 169, and eventually rolled into Mille Lacs Lake Sunday at midnight, reports The Sacramento Bee.

37-year-old Andrew Nickaboine of Minneapolis was driving when the incident occured. He and passenger 42-year-old Ronald Dorr of Colombia were pronounced dead after being transported to Onamia Hospital from the scene of the accident, reported The Sacramento Bee.

A third passenger in the back seat, 32-year-old Keegan Morrison of Minneapolis, was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, alcohol was detected in all three of the men. Dorr and Morrison were wearing seatbelts, Nickaboine was not, reports the Star Tribune.
