March 2010 Archives
We have an opening for a graphic artist at On the Limit. It is a full
time position, but we could work with someone part time until May graduation
when he/she could go full time.
The artists here are asked to do original artwork, and to work
with customer supplied art. Their work is screen printed, embroidered
and/or sublimated on clothing, textiles and promotional products.
We are a Windows based company.
The graphic artist needs to have working knowledge
of:
-Illustrator CS3 or Coreldraw and
-vectors vs. bitmap/jpg.
They need to be able to:
-multi-task
-work well with others
-work well under pressure and
-keep up with new software applications.

Hey!
Hope everyone had a wonderful break and good luck with the second half! Just a reminder that the UMD Mud Guid Pot Till You Drop Throw-a-thon is this Thursday, March 25th. The Throw-a-thon will be held in the ceramics studio from 6pm until you literally drop. No wheel throwing experience necessary as you will be able to hand build as well and there will be snacks and beverages provided. We will fire and glaze the bowls at a later date if you would like to be a part of that as well.
We will be making bowls for the 16th Annual Empty Bowl Fundraiser, which will be held at the Depot on Tuesday, April 20th from 10am to 6:30pm. 100% of the proceeds are donated to local food banks!
Hope to see you there!
