A special new place
Last night, Joan took me on a walk and then she got my leash and a few other things and we got in the car. I was very excited...maybe we were going to the dog park or the golf course...or who knows where?! We started driving in the direction of the golf course, but then we passed it. I whimpered and whined. Then we got on the highway in the direction of where Joan plays softball, but then we exited too soon for softball. Then I really did not know where we were going, so I started squealing and whimpering due to joy and uncertainty. Then, Joan turned into this driveway and we got out and went into a porch. Then the door opened and I was unsure so I crouched down...but then I remembered it is Rachel! She came to Joan's party. She has a huge backyard so I ran around it several times and then we went inside and I found Lew and Will, the little boy. I gave Will some kisses and he just laughed and laughed so I did it some more.
I was a little on edge, not sure why we were here but I settled down at times, like during dinner. But the best was that Lew and Rachel used to have a dog (you can tell they are dog people!) and they let me give them kisses all over, and they pet me, too. Will even knew my name by the end of the night. The other cool thing is that Will, the little boy, spills his food a lot, so I took it upon myself to clean the area around his chair. I wish Joan would be so messy when she eats! We had lots of fun, but I was ready to return home later that night!
