I'm gonna keep bloggin
No worries, friends, I plan to keep bloggin - i've gotta tell you what it is like in Texas. I'm sure we'll have many adventures there. I'm kinda excited but it is true as Hobbes said, if Joan had told me earlier, I could have held out for relocation allowance - more toys, new bed, more bones and treats. University of Texas should at least throw me a bone, right?!
Joan is kinda boring right now. She's cleaning. She's been doing this for weeks. The nice lady came again this morning and met with Joan. I don't know what she wants but she told me to protect the papers she put on the floor that were for Joan. I obeyed her. I can tell she is a dog lover.
As long as I get my walks and food and pets, I'm pretty happy. Though, I would really like to get my backyard back!

Bosco, sounds like your mother has been very busy getting you and your toys ready for your move to Texas. I wish you all the luck finding new dog parks and squirrels to chase. I sure hope you find a lake to swim in also. Your Friend Marcia

Ciao Bosco,
I is just the wondering where you is get your suits or as Papa put it what breed are you as you is obviosly the handsome like Wiemeraner but you is gone for the very dapper dark brown in preference to the light brown/grey as sported by the most Weimeraner

I am glad to hear that you plan to keep blogging! Watch out for fire ants and scorpions in Texas. You might enjoy trips out to the Texas Hill Country! There is a nifty park a couple hours away from Austin called LOST MAPLES (http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/lost_maples/). That's a pretty interesting spot. There are actually MAPLE trees there (which are not found that often around Austin). And if you have an urge to visit the Gulf of Mexico (sort of like a REALLY huge saltwater lake), I recommend North Padre Island over South Padre - it's much quieter and the National Seashore down there is pretty nice (if you are into the beach). Safe travels!
