Kailua-Kona Sunset 2004
There are few other moments in life so beautiful, so spectacular, as watching the sun sink beneath the ocean. This photo was taken two years ago on the Big Island of Hawaii at the Royal Kona Hotel. In the original photo, you can make out the smoke stack from a cruise ship along the horizon. My favorite part of the photo is the color. We are going back to the Big Island this year and I will hopefully have an opportunity to take more photos of sunsets.
