UMM Environmental Programs

A working group comprising faculty from numerous disciplines representing all four campus divisions has put together a draft proposal for the formation of an Environmental Studies major program. The most recently updated version (9/11/07) can be downloaded here, and the group welcomes comments from UMM faculty, staff, students, and other interested parties (click on Comments and add your thoughts or questions).

As the proposal evolves and is updated, these versions will be posted for comment as soon as they are available.

Two public meetings have been planned for discussion of the Environmental Studies proposal. The first will be Friday, Sept. 14, at 3:00-4:00 pm in the Prairie Lounge. The second will be Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 4:30-5:30 pm in the Alumni Room of the Student Center.
