Face to Facebook is the latest project by Alessandro Ludovico and Paolo Cirio, the third work in a series that began with Google Will Eat Itself and Amazon Noir.
The artist/authors explain their new net artwork:

"Stealing 1 million Facebook profiles, filtering them with face-recognition software and then posting them on a custom-made dating website, sorted by their facial expression characteristics..."

NASA Remix Project

This group is dedicated to Remixing the public photo archive of NASA.
Any image, collage, artwork, or photo that uses at least one image from NASA in the form of a remix, mash up or new artwork is acceptable.


They use images from NASA image gallery, GRIN archive (Great Images in NASA library) or the biggest collection of them all www.nasaimages.org .

As you are selecting a digital artist to do a presentation on, please note the chapter + category in the Digital Art book. Choose an artist whose work intrigues you. Make sure you can locate good visual examples of their work on the web. You can also access library periodicals and books to search for more detailed info about their important works. (reviews + articles in art magazines)
