If this were a story about my life, it would be a Coming-of-Age Comedy, created by Marc Webb. The story about my life would be light hearted, but also dealing with some issues, both serious and not so serious. It would be set in present day in Duluth, MN. The pace of the story would be a steady, semi-fast pace. The camera work would have direct and clean shots. It would be a story about making life decisions and struggles of everyday life, all the while experiencing strange and awkward encounters in a world both random and unpredictable. In the project, my sister would be played by Emma Watson and Orlando Bloom would play the love interest. In the climax of the story, I would come to the epiphany that life doesn’t need to be taken so seriously, and I do not have to have the answers to everything right now. This scene would feel very much like an “ah ha!” moment and like a huge burden just lifted off your shoulders. The look of the scene would be right before sunset looking out at a still Lake Superior with seagulls squawking in the distant background. The audience would be most surprised by the ending when I jump into lake, not caring about how it’s absolutely freezing and completely nuts to do so. I would immediately run back out and regret it, but at the time it felt like the most liberating thing to do.

If this was a story about my life, it would be a family movie created by John Lee Hancock.
The story about my life would be bright, bubbly and exciting full of emotion. It would be set in now in the country. The pace of the story would be calm and fun, the camera work would be with different angles: up, down, but also simplistic with long shots. It would be the story of a young photographer trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life, she wants to travel, but still spend time with her family and her boyfriend. In the project, my mom would be played by Sandra Bullock and Ryan Gosling would play the love interest.
In the climax of the story, the young photographer would realize that family is really what’s important, and everything else follows, and she is okay with that would happen. This scene would feel very happy and ecstatic and be visually bright like the sun. The audience would be most surprised by the ending, when I decided to still travel every once in a while.

If this was a story about my life, it would be a drama (genre / style), created by Hao Miyasaki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hayao_Miyazaki)(artist/ director).
The story about my life would be initially very neutral with seemingly insignificant events, but it would build to some sort of vibrant realization (describe visual qualities and emotional tone). It would be set in current day Britain (era) in Blackpool (location). The pace of the story would be slow at the start, but pick up as events compile a story, the camera work would be smooth and transitional, but snappy and a bit jarring when a character realizes something or shows internal thought. It would be the story of an visual, vocal, and writing artist trying to find a style and voice through various media. In focusing on her goals, she ends up lacking friends and belonging and realizes that people around her are essential to finding this hidden voice, and herself (short synopsis). In the project, my grandmother (family member) would be played by Betty White (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betty_White)(actor) and Logan Lermen (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0503567/)(actor) would play the love interest.
In the climax of the story, a near-suicide would happen; the love interest is on a brink of personal destruction and the main character is digressing into a lack of interest in others. This scene would feel very dark and foreboding (emotion) and be visually distant, with a few close ups, to create a sense of building tension as their internal thoughts are revealed (look). The audience would be most surprised by the ending, when the main character saves the love interest, and realizes friendship through understanding. She is able to open up to people and discovers her talent of personal expression in its various forms.

If this was a story about my life, it would be a surreal adventure-comedy (genre / style), created by Terry Gilliam (artist/ director).
The story about my life would be part live-action, part animation, with a curiously excited and ecstatic emotional tone. (describe visual qualities and emotional tone). It would be set in 2008-now, as well as the early 1920s (era) in Minnesota (location). The pace of the story would be moderate, the camera work would be done with film. It would be the story of myself in this time, as well as my great-grandma when she was my age (played by the same person), having similar experiences, as I learn about her life (from her, as her older-character actor). (short synopsis). In the project, my great-grandma (family member) would be played by Maggie Smith (actor) and Tom Hiddleston (actor) would play the love interest.
In the climax of the story, my great-grandma’s storyline and mine would “crash together.” This scene would feel very exhilarating (emotion) and be visually surreal (look). The audience would be most surprised by the ending, when I and my great-grandma turn out to be the same person, just living in different times.

If this were a story of my life, it would be a comedic satire created by Joss Whedon. The story of my life would be a bright and confident, and preferably with a musical number- for no apparent reason. It would be set in modern times, starting in San Diego but travelling across country. The pace would be quick and it would be the story of a post- grad theatre student in their early 20's and the ups and downs of their crappy jobs, roommates, family expectations, and the struggle to find their creativity in the midst of minimum wage and cheap food. In this project my brother would be played by Jake Gyllenhaal and my love interest would be played by Tom Hiddleston.
In the climax of the story, our struggling protagonist would take a bike trip across country, soaking up as much theatre as she possibly can. The scene would be exciting, heart warming, and inspirational. The audience would be most surprised when I bike back to my home town of Raleigh, NC and take a teaching job at the University.

If this was a story about my life, it would be a romantic comedy, created by Garry Marshall. The story about my life would be upbeat and relatable to the audience. It would be set in the current era in a college town and New York. The pace of the story would be pretty quick to keep the audience’s interest up, the camera work would be filmed in a third person view like most sitcoms while incorporating some close up and moving shots. It would be the story of a girl in her early-twenties. She is the kind of person who had her whole life planned. She was going to graduate, get her dream job, and find the perfect guy. But, when she gets passed up on her dream job after graduation, she feels as if her life is in utter ruins. She turns to one of her best guy friends that she’s known forever for support. In the project, my mother would be played by Meryl Streep and Jason Segel would play the love interest. In the climax of the story, she gets offered a job 1500 miles away in New York. Her mother, who she is really close with, talks her into going. She moves to New York and is happy but realizes that something is missing from her life, while her guy friend starts feeling the same way back at home. This scene would feel lonely and have a feeling uncertainty but be visually pleasing The audience would be most surprised by the ending, when I decide to keep my job in New York while I still get to keep the guy.

The link that I am including is for Jason Segel’s IMDb page. One of my favorite shows is How I Met Your Mother, and I think that he does a good job acting in it:

If this was a story about my life, it would be a dark comedy, created by Adam Elliot. The story about my life would be a claymation with gloomy dark colors . It would be set in the 60's. The camera work would be square and strait shooting while occasionally fading from focus. It would be the story of a girl with large ambitions who goes to college to be a doctor but fails miserably. In my project, my sister's voice would be played by Ellen Degeneris and Josh Radner would be the voice of my love interest. In the climax of the story, I would break down and quit school. This scene would feel very depressing and hopeless and be visually dreary with the camera shooting down on me. The audience would be most surprised by the ending, when I am 75 years old and still in school with 28-half degrees in various subjects.

If this was a story of my life, it would be a sci-fi drama, written by Arthur C. Clarke. The story about my life would be visually minimalistic and emotionally melancholic. It would be set in the far future on a foreign planet or space colony. The pace of the story would be slow and develop character, the camera work would be experimental. It would be the story of how y life is dramatically influenced by technology and this futuristic environment, and overcoming these physical and emotional boundaries and going with my instincts. In the climax of the story I overcome my boundaries and revert to being more human and influence the other people in the colony. This scene would feel very uplifting, empowering, thought provoking, and be visually epic and stunning. The audience would be most surprised by the ending, when I sacrifice my life to save the life of my son.
