Wade Phillips Named New Head Coach of Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys hired Wade Philips as their new head football coach on Thursday. ESPN.com is reporting that Phillips and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones agreed to a three-year contract.

Phillips was hired to replace former Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells who retired after this past season. According to The Associated Press, Dallas wanted Phillips because he has experience running a 3-4 defensive scheme.
