Penguins Will Remain in Pittsburgh
The NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins will stay in Pittsburgh after state and local officials agreed to a deal with the Penguins for a new stadium. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is reporting the new uptown arena deal is a $290 million agreement.
According to KDKA-TV, the new stadium should be finished for the 2009-2010 NHL season.
The Associated Press is reporting the deal will keep the Penguins in Pittsburgh for 30 years.
