Florida home over sinkhole demolished

Demolition crews razed a Florida home on Sunday after a man died when he fell into the sinkhole under the home, news sources reported.

Jeffrey Bush, 37, fell into a hole that opened in his bedroom floor Thursday night, and his brother, Jeremy, was unable to pull him out, Tampa Bay Online said. As a result, the home was torn down Sunday morning to avoid any more deaths from the sinkhole.

Jeremy Bush lived in the house with his girlfriend, Rachel Wicker, and their two-year-old daughter, with whim he spent the day praying and collecting as many items from the house as they could, according to Fox News. Neighbors joined them on the lawn to lend support as the house was torn down.
