A magnitude-5.9 earthquake hit Mexico on Sunday night in the state of Michoacan, USA Today reported.

There were no reports of significant damage, but oil company Pemex did report power losses that may have been a result of the quake, and Mexico City reported feeling tremors, according to Reuters.

The earthquake was initially reported as 6.2 before registering as a 5.9, news sources said. Overall, there were no lasting or significant problems as a result of the quake.
