Jack Valenti died yesterday. The CNN obit focuses much more on his work in the White House and with the movie rating system than his fight against piracy. He was quite a multifaceted guy.

Yah! I saw that today. I thought he died weeks ago, and think I chided a classmate about two weeks ago. Funny how the obituaries I've read do not mention his initial opposition to VCRs. They don't have to cannonize the guy. Nobody bats 1000. Still, as a lobbyist of the highest order, I'm sure he has good publicists.....RJNC
