You Will See (Me)

So, this blog, as seen in previous posts, deals primarily with "what I hate about people." You could call me, not anti-social, but maybe "lackluster" for crowds - because most people irritate and bore me with their ego and pompous attitudes (or else their insensitive stupidity). This is another song I wrote which deals with the single-mindedness of people and their own "self-evident" ideal of which everything great remains the same, as everything dull remains dull. This deals with that general attitude.

You Will See (Me)

My whole life has skipped around
From baby’s first sound to the college bound
But even through my distorted vision
I can still tell I haven’t move position
I have stayed, same old, same old
My time is on continuous refold
But paper can only fold seven times
So I believe my simplicity is starting to die and you’re

Mesmerized by a transformation
Lost at sight by a small translation
I still don’t know who I want to be
But will you see, will you see me
Turn my life in a direction
Away from all of my current tension
I still don’t know what I’m looking to see
But you will see, you will see me

Impossible is never an excuse
Break the alliance and forget the truce
Stay by my side, I’m not a hopeless youth, but
I guess you gave up on me cause you found the truth
So I’ll change my hair and my shirt and shoes
To try to get you back, what have I got to lose
Now I can start to gain back my quality and
It may be a small change to you, but a huge step for me and still you’re

Mesmerized by a transformation
Lost at sight by a small translation
I still don’t know who I want to be
But will you see, will you see me
Turn my life in a direction
Away from all of my current tension
I still don’t know what I’m looking to see
But you will see, you will see me

Everywhere I go there’s going to be a line
So I need to find the fast track to bypass the time
I’ve heard before that my life’s a waste
But nothing’s a waste if I still have faith and
Those who envy the passion of the present
Still think the past is foreshadowing content
You can think ahead, just don’t try to focus
Cause you’ll find a detour and you’ll get stuck in cuss

Mesmerized by a transformation
Lost at sight by a small translation
I still don’t know who I want to be
But will you see, will you see me
Turn my life in a direction
Away from all of my current tension
I still don’t know what I’m looking to see
But you will see, you will see me

David, your lyrics (this one and the previous song) show a real musicality. Just reading them they have a clear cadence and melody to them. Great work. And it's okay not to like crowds, people, things, they have a name for people like that (like me): misanthropes. 5/5
