Today, I submitted a column about having kids that will appear in the MN Daily tomorrow.
I also read "The Lives of Animals" by J. M. Coetzee. This is a wonderful book. Some of the discussion of reason resonated with my recent meditations on the deification of reason in this culture.
I think I'll take a look at Rationality and Relativism and Voltaire's Bastards : The Dictatorship of Reason in the West to see what others have said on this subject.
In other news, tomorrow is Take Back Your Time Day (http://www.simpleliving.net/timeday/default.asp). I need to meditate more than just some Fridays.
