Velocity Sports Performance - internship

Velocity Sports Performance, located in Burnsville, MN, is looking for Fall 2009 coaching interns.

Velocity Sports Performance and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) have partnered to offer an internship program with a curriculum designed to prepare students for a career in the field of sports performance training, as well as prepare students to take and successfully pass the National Strength and Conditioning Association's Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam.

As an intern with Velocity Sports Performance, students will be exposed to the practical side of sports performance training. It is an opportunity for students to apply the information they have acquired through degree paths such as Exercise Science, Kinesiology/Biomechanics, and other Science related fields. Student interns will shadow and assist expert performance coaches in the implementation of training for athletes of all ages, and will be required to review literature/research giving them a further understanding of how their education applies to sports performance training.
