Major League Soccer will host their annual MLS Teams Job Fair (invitation only) in Philadelphia on Saturday, January 16, 2010. They will be interviewing and selecting candidates for Entry-Level Ticket Sales and Service positions at MLS Teams. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to obtain their first position in sports. Since this is a competitive and invitation only career fair, about 30% of the job participants are usually offered and end up accepting jobs with MLS teams, and still more of the other applicants have continuing conversations about jobs with the teams.

Wilderness Inquiry Internship

Ryan Kindschy graduated from the University of Minnesota's Sport Management program in May of 2008. He is currently working with Ben Coleman and his ABA basketball team the Minnesota Blizzards. The Blizzards' first full ABA season will be in 2010. At the moment they are in the middle of their exhibition season. The City of New Brighton is recruiting for a full-time Guest Services, Sales and Communications Supervisor position. Minimum requirements include a Bachelors Degree in parks and recreation administration, communications, marketing, or related field and two years of experience in employee development, supervision and sales experience in a community center type work environment.
