Managing your Bibliographies and Citations with RefWorks

RefWorks is an online tool for importing your citations from literature database searches, organizing them into convenient folders, and then automating the creation of bibliographies and lists of references in the format and Microsoft Word document of your choice. Numerous formats (ACS, CBE, AIP, APA, Chicago, etc.) are provided, and several databases have direct Refworks export functionality built-in. The downloadable Write-N-Cite utility allows users to add citations from their RefWorks database to a manuscript with one click. Free access to RefWorks is available to all UofM-affiliated users.

There are several online RefWorks video tutorials describing how to use this resource. UofM Libraries also provides hands-on training workshops (both basic and advanced) each semester.
