What's going on with the public Extension Website?

This is a blog I've been threatening to start for a long time. Maybe this exercise in the Web 2.0 course will finally get me going.

You may have noticed new developments on www.extension.umn.edu. A lot more is going on behind the scenes that you don't see. In 2009 you should see major changes in the site.

I will use this blog to report about new things we're doing with the site, pilots, and learnings.

Extension faculty and staff will have the opportunity to give feedback on what you want the new site to be able to do to support your educational programming. Let us know what your audiences say they want.

A website is a work in progress. It's never finished, and it's never too late to develop new applications or types of content.
