Well, as you can imagine, it's pretty easy to guess when they are going to be out of town. They have this dorky plastic turtle in their front garden in which they keep a spare key to their house. I simply let myself in, took the bowl, and left.

So, to rephrase my original statement: I have a bowl of the exact same design as the one in the photo. I bought mine for $2 at the Burnsville Prince of Peace "Mega Sale." What a bargain! Church garage sales are awesome. It is my favorite bowl. It's metal--I believe it's called enamelware? I saw another one a while back at Succotash near Raymond and University in St. Paul. If you want to jump on the Shannon / Low bandwagen you could see if it's still there.
