"It might do you good to eat a little dust once in awhile."
This week's list comes a bit late...I blame work and my current free time-suck, World of Warcraft! But here it is (slow week, for the most part), this week's new DVDs:
Band of Angels (1957)
Benny Hill Complete and Unadulterated - The Hill's Angels Years, Set Six I'm still amused that my folks let my brother and me watch this show when we were growing up, even if they were apparently edited for American broadcast at the time.
The Big Valley - Season Two, Volume One When I was a kid, the TV station that ran Star Trek would sometimes stop running the show and replace it with something else they had in syndication. This show was one of the ones that would appear without warning, replacing my beloved Trek. So, I've never seen it, but always associate it with youthful bitter resentment!
Catch a Fire (2006)
Dallas - The Complete Sixth Season ...and the head of Patrick Duffy!
Flyboys (2006) I've always thought it was time someone made a really good WW I film...too bad this wasn't it.
I Dream Of Jeannie - The Complete Third Season Wow, two Larry Hagman shows in one week! She's gonna get us high! (sorry, inside joke)
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - The Third Year
Lucky Louie - The Complete First Season
Murder, She Wrote - The Complete Fifth Season
Open Season The latest CG/animal/celebrity voice flick.
Peer Gynt (1941) Charlton Heston's indie film debut, a low budget silent Northwestern University project.
The Silence of the Lambs: Collector's Edition Yet another DVD of this film...
