"Jesus, I like him very much, but he no help with curveball."
Well hello again all. First, a couple of notes before I dive into this week:
First, let's all root for the speedy recovery of Danielle's dog Peyton who had his spleen removed over the weekend. He's apparently up and eating, so keep it up, you big sweet goofy dog!
Second, there was a good op-ed in the NY Times about the record industry, "Spinning Into Oblivion". It's pretty short and worth a read, so check it out here.
So, let's see what we have on tap this week DVD-wise:
The Aura (2005)
Bobby (2006)
The Doris Day Collection, Vol. 2 Warners delivers another box 'o Dorris: Romance on the High Seas, My Dream Is Yours, On Moonlight Bay, I'll See You in My Dreams, By the Light of the Silvery Moon, and Lucky Me
Flannel Pajamas (2006)
How William Shatner Changed the World The TV docu comes out on DVD. This was actually not bad, assuming you can deal with Shatner's ego.
Major League Special Edition (1989)
The Pride of the Yankees Anniversary Edition (1942)
Scooby Doo, Where Are You! - The Complete Third Season
Shanghai Surprise - Special Edition Wow, they'll make a deluxe DVD out of anything these days!
Sleeping Dogs Lie (2006)

BG:
Do you think the studios are releasing these silly special DVDs because they realize that the DVD will soon go the way of the CD?
