Late again this week. I was down with a stomach bug for a couple of days (such excuses!), but all appears to be well again. As usual, January is the time of really bad theatrical releases (stuff that wasn't considered good enough to release in Fall/Holidays) and throw-away DVD releases. Luckily, they seem to throw some goodies in here and there as well. So let's take a look at what we have this week:

Bangkok Dangerous (2008) Also on BD.
Battlestar Galactica: Season 4 This is a show I will want to pick up on BD, whenever they get around to releasing it.
Disaster Movie (2008) Also on BD.
The Last Emperor (1987) Another Criterion BD release. I'd guess this one will look spectacular in HD.
Michael Powell Double Feature Includes the films Age of Consent and Stairway to Heaven (both new to DVD, at least in the USA).
Pineapple Express (2008) Also on BD.
Righteous Kill (2008) Also on BD.
The Wackness (2008) Also on BD.
