Body found in Minneapolis dumpster

A body was found near a dumpster at Bryant Ave. N. and Plymouth Ave. N. in Minneapolis on Friday morning, police said.

Police responded to a call at 4:30 a.m. and found the body of an unidentified man near a dumpster. The dumpster was behind a business on the 800 block of Plymouth Avenue North.

There are currently no reports on the victim's identity or cause of death, but there were bullet casings found on the ground nearby, according to Fox 9.

A police spokesman told Kare 11 that the death is being deemed "suspicious" and homicide investigators have been called in to assist in the case.
