Gun control

I would like to pose an example of a costitutional issue. The new (well use to be new) law called conceal and carry law was also a contraversial one. Now, I understand that privatly owned buisneses were alowed to post a sighn banning guns in their buildings, but can the public university do this, since they are government owned, meaning they get tax money? and are the dorms governemt owned also? I know that a privit college can do whatever they would like, but what about a public university?

Yes, for sure. Schools are hotbeds of the zero tolerance policy. Although universities aren't high schools or grade schools, i'd imagine they have a lot of gun regulations. As for it being government owned, i think that would allow for greater restrictions. For example I sure as hell wouldn't be caught dead in even somewhere like the DMV with a gun. So yeah, pretty sure they have just as/if not more gun control laws.

I think that the issue about gun control is contraversial, and the issue falls an to continuims . One the person protecting them self, and the person feeling thretend . I think that If you register your gun and get a conceal and carry permit It shouldnt be an issue. The fact of privatly owend buisnes dening the entry of someone carrying and concealing a firearm. If a buisnes is government owend and gets tax dollars, the law that allows people to carry guns should be followed through. What should the stipulations be?
Do you think the law should be changed.

I think that guns shouldnt be baned exept for a few cases. I dont think that people should beable to get fully automatic wepons but i think if you want you should be able to carry a gun. Not into places like school but other wise use be able to carry a gun pretty much anywhere. Since only a small population would use guns to hurt people anyways.
