When Efie and Ashish weren't presenting their research, "Integrin alpha(5)beta(1) targeted delivery to colon cancer cells" at the 2007 Gordon Conference "Biomaterials: Biocompatibility/Tissue Engineering" they took the chance to have some fun with the other conference attendees. They hiked The Original Death March.

During some of their free time while attending the Gordon Conference for Biomaterials: Biocompatibility/Tissue Engineering, Ashish and Efie did a bit of hiking. They conquered the four hour hike along the Welch/Dickey Mountain Trail (a.k.a. The Original Death March).
