Here's a movie of Mia playing with a new toy from Grandma and Grandpa:

Mia is getting so quick cruising on the walls and can get pretty much anywhere she wants to in our house using shelves, walls, chairs - and her favorite object to cruise on - Ella. And Mia has taken her first steps! She goes from person to person mostly and it's only occassionally, but she can go 8-10 steps and is pretty steady so I think we're on our way.
Mia is getting so good at manipulating objects and so Pat the Bunny and Pat the Puppy are special favorites lately.
Mia is eating so much lately and she's a very adventurous eater - she'll try just about anything. Her current favorite though is curry couscous with chicken, peas and carrots.
Mia likes to play chase with Ella and thinks that whenever Ella walks passed her, she must be chasing her. Of course, Ella is oblivous to this game, but Mia enjoys it nonetheless.

Here's my new silly smile:
Here are three of my five teeth!
Mia really loves Ella. So much in fact that Ella was Mia's first word - it comes out a little more like Eh-ya though. She is also saying Mama, Dada, and has just starting signing more and all done. She becomes very proud of herself when she communicates with us.
Mia and I are taking a swim class. Mia really seems to like the water, although she wasn't so happy with me when we were supposed to dunk the babies.
Mia has finally started moving a bit by herself - creeping along painfully and slowly as you can see in the movie clip below. But she is also getting so much better at cruising and can get all over the living room - now she just has to figure out how to get up and down from a standing position.
