Busy, busy, busy
That's about all you can say about our little Mia lately - she is busy, busy, busy, always with a job to do or somewhere to be. It's near impossible to get a picture of her in fact. We had her 15-month well baby visit today - the last one with shots for a few years - yeah!! She's still in the 40th percentile for height and 15% for weight - 30 inches and almost 21 lbs. We were in Cedar Rapids this last weekend for a last minute trip to meet Sydney - Stacy and Brian gave birth to a little girl on September 20 and are doing great! I'll post pictures of her soon.
Meeting Harper
We went out to Boston a few weeks ago to meet Harper, Laura and Shawn's new little daughter. We had a wonderful trip and were so happy to get to meet Harper when she was still so little and new. Mia was pretty good with Harper and took much interest in the caretaking activities around Harper, but was truly more interested in their dog and cat. Harper was very sweet and Laura, Shawn and Harper are doing very well. It was hard to leave and realize how different Harper will already be the next time we get to see them.
The Red Balloon
Every week we go to the Red Balloon Bookstore to see the baby story hour. Mia absolutely loves it - she sings and dances and is basically enraptured by the woman so we decided to sign up for her private class which has many fewer babies. I think it will be lots of fun.
