Bren is good friends with Oscar so we got an Oscar the Grouch Birthday Cake.

It made mom so happy she cried.

Earlier in the day we did some other things, like find a bunch of bright yellow dandelions.

Then we opened up a gift, it was a Fisher Price Mater Bubble Blower.

And we also went to Como Zoo. Here is a big green leaf that Bren found.

On the way back, we found some wild horses running free.

These pictures were taken in early May when we spent a lot of time organizing a large wood pile. Bren helped but also enjoyed playing with spare tires and the fishing boat.

Back to his more natural habitat, the water.

Those UMN knuckleheads tried to lock me out (probably because I've been out of the University for a clean 5 years). Thankfully a nice lady named Laura helped me restore my account.

Everyone I show this to seems to think when the video starts, Bren is at the top of a cliff looking down.

We found a baby snapping turtle in the lake the other day. He was very little, with a soft shell and pointy noise to signify it being a snapping turtle.

Of course there are other things, like momma ducks and tiny baby ducks.

Big blue crayfish. Bren wasn't a big fan of this guy.

And there are always those who love to litter our waters with beer cans.
