Trashy Birthday w/ Oscar's Birthday Cake

Bren is good friends with Oscar so we got an Oscar the Grouch Birthday Cake.

It made mom so happy she cried.

Earlier in the day we did some other things, like find a bunch of bright yellow dandelions.

Then we opened up a gift, it was a Fisher Price Mater Bubble Blower.

And we also went to Como Zoo. Here is a big green leaf that Bren found.

These pictures were taken in early May when we spent a lot of time organizing a large wood pile. Bren helped but also enjoyed playing with spare tires and the fishing boat.

We found a baby snapping turtle in the lake the other day. He was very little, with a soft shell and pointy noise to signify it being a snapping turtle.

Of course there are other things, like momma ducks and tiny baby ducks.

Big blue crayfish. Bren wasn't a big fan of this guy.

And there are always those who love to litter our waters with beer cans.

Easter 2011 Kid's Egg Hunt

Always a classic event. Here are a few with three Team Krasean members standing and Veronica / Ellie / Brendan on the ground. Looks like Brendan stole Johan's hat which he is fond of doing.

Ice Sculptures, Valentine's Day

Bren really enjoyed the Winter Festival, mostly because of the Ice Sculptures. He would want to go twice a day to go worship Pablo the Penguin (we actually know him from Disney's Mickey Mouse Book Club).

The snow drifts tasted good. This drift covered up a cave we had made.

Pinehaven Farm Train Ride Wyoming

Then we got some pumpkins later and Bren wandered through the patch + kicked up dirt.

Pinehaven is fun to stop by during Halloween. Mostly because of the friendly animals but the trains and such are nice too. The cover charge I can live without but so long as they are putting it towards the animals and not a 60 inch plasma tv then that's okay.

What is this thing? A yak? Wasn't sure, looks kind of like a bull. He was friendly though, displaced in the far corner, but he liked his head rubbed. But while petting he quickly ducked and turned his head and almost gored me. Be careful.

Feeding goats never gets old. Try to distribute your food evenly amongst the goats.

Then here is the train Brendan and mom rode on. This is an action shot with no blur. Impressive how I timed it and centered it, eh?

Haven't updated in a while but I have new content along with resurrecting and old computer with old content never before seen! Stay tuned..

Mom had Bren in this neat elephant outfit the other day. Really thin so despite the warm weather it was about as comfortable as one could hope. He showed his thanks by going around and watering plants.

And a video of Bren sliding down the slide and landing on his feet gracefully :)
