KitchenAid Pro Mixer 40 dollar rebate
For a limited time at Amazon, there is a 40$ KitchenAid rebate on most KA 600 series mixers, along with a free magazine subscription. These Professional Mixers are top of the line and rarely are lower than 350$ new. My Licorice 600 series mixer has been used daily for all sorts of tasks, mostly bread dough / pizza dough as I make pizzas with fresh ingredients often.
The best value would be the Nickel Pearl KitchenAid 600 mixer. Already marked down to 320$, with the 40$ rebate it is 280$ plus free shipping! That's cheaper than many of the smaller Artisan Mixers! The Onyx Black 600 series mixer is not too far back, at 298$. Many others including the Empire Red 600 pro mixer are in the low 300's (314$ for the Empire Red).
The rebate is valid through the middle of September 2009, so act accordingly.
