Illegal Organ Trafficking in Philippines
Working with various groups in bad areas in the Philippines, there are horrific tales and sights of bodies being dumped after mutilation for organs. Unfortunately the little ones have not been safe.
We have inquired for Illegal Organ Trafficking data in the Philippines (from Interpol and the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Chicago). Months ago he responded with the following:
"Please be informed that the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Manila has been requested to transmit a copy of your e-mail to the Department of Health (DOH), requesting for information on illegal organ transplant in the Philippines. We have also advised that the DOH may reply directly to you through your contact information in your e-mail. Very truly yours,"
Alas, we have not heard back from the Philippines Government on the topic of Illegal Organ Transplant Trafficking in the Philippines.
