Two Men Shot in Drive-By Shooting

By Jael Kuehl

According to The Minnesota Daily two men were shot in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood. Both men are expected to survive.

The Minnesota Daily reports that one man was shot in the leg, and the other was shot in the torso. They were both taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

One witness told the Star Tribune that he thought the two victims were not targeted, but were instead bystanders.

The Star Tribune also reports that this is the same site where a murder took place on Sept. 22, 2008. A 20-year-old Augsburg College student who had been volunteering was shot and killed outside the center.
