It seems like there needs to be a study on how many women transfer care from a midwife to a doctor before the birth because during the actual labor it seems that the US and Netherlands are relatively similar 12% and 15% respectively. Honestly I don't think that there are many people that transfer care once they begin with midwives. Why is this in the US?
