A British TV icon has come under fire for alleged sexual abuse spanning decades a year after his death, Laura Smith-Spark reported.
Jimmy Savile, 83, died last year shortly after being treated for pneumonia. His many accomplishments include the popular show "Top of the Pops" and being knighted by the Queen.
However, after his death, reports surfaced of accusations of sexual abuse by more than 200 people over over several decades, Smith-Spark wrote. Police say his targeted victims were teenage girls. Investigations have begun to determine whether there was a coverup by the BBC.
