Tsunami Hits Hawaii After Canadian Earthquake

Small tsunami waves hit the coast of Hawaii on Sunday following an earthquake in Canada on Saturday, NBC news staff reported.

A tsunami warning was cancelled at approximately 4 a.m. after the waves appeared to be much lower than previously anticipated. The tsunami began around 10:30 p.m., causing many in the area to evacuate.

No major damages were reported.
