Man rescued after truck slips into St. Croix River

A Washington County man was rescued early Saturday after his truck broke through the ice on the St. Croix River.
A sheriff's dispatcher received a call at 3:06 a.m. about someone in the river calling for help, according to the Star Tribune.
Sheriff's deputies responded and pulled a 57-year-old man from the river.
He was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul but his condition is unknown, according to the Pioneer Press.
