Mpls. Woman receives $1600 water bill

A Minneapolis woman received a $1600 water bill Friday which the city says is accurate although it is 20 times her normal bill.
Erica Kocur says her bill is usually $70-$80 per month. She said "her heart just dropped" when she read the bill, according to the Star Tribune.
The city said she must have a running toilet or dripping faucet, according to the Pioneer Press.
KSTP-TV reported that the bill recorded 200,000 gallons of water, three times the volume of Kocur's entire home. A shower would have to run nonstop for nearly two months to use that much water, according to the Pioneer Press.
