Washburn High School football player shot in the face, several in custody

A teenager was shot in the face Saturday afternoon in a Minneapolis apartment, police said.
A television news report identified the victim as 16-year-old Montrell Wade, according to the Star Tribune.
Wade was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the head, according the Pioneer Press.
Wade is a student at Washburn High School in Minneapolis, and is an all-metro running back on the football team, Washburn Principal Carol Markum-Cousins said.
