Minneapolis man fatally stabs wife

A Minneapolis man fatally stabbed his wife of 24 years early Friday morning as his horrified children looked on, police said.
Billy Nash, 46, was charged Friday with first-degree murder, accused of fatally stabbing his wife, Pauline Nash, 42, at 3:15 a.m. in the family's duplex in the 2400 block of Penn Avenue N, according to the Star Tribune.
The slaying followed Billy Nash's March 26 release without bail from the Hennepin County jail, granted on the condition that he not contact his wife, according to the Pioneer Press.
He had earlier been brought up on charges of assault.
