Ohio Man Puts 911 Dispatcher on Hold to Make Drug Deal

Alejandro Melendez, 20, was arrested after he called 911 Tuesday claiming that two men with guns were watching him and then hung up. The dispatcher called Melendez back and was asked to hold on, but the dispatcher could still hear what was being said.
The dispatcher heard discussion of buying and selling a “10-pack.� This being slang for a bundle of heroin according to police.
The dispatcher called the police and reported Melendez’s conversation. The police arrived at the location Melendez gave to the dispatcher where they found Melendez who had cocaine in his trousers.
