My assignment
Well, the summer is almost over and school is just around the corner. The University of Minnesota is awaiting my arrival. Ok, so maybe not personally because to them I am simply a number, a face in the crowd, and check each semester. It is sad to think about, but I am looking forward to it. I always wanted to live in a big city and have endless options for restaurants, sporting events, and entertainment. I am not looking forward to the work, but I will just have to get over that one. I hope that school is challenging and exciting. I am looking forward to meeting new people. I already met a few at orientation and my roommate and i have been emailing each other for a while now.
School to me means real experience, knowledge, and freedom. I hope I learn to take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities offered at the U. I am excited to be involved in Intramural sports and the Christian Student Fellowship organization. I love to play basketball so I hope to be able to play in the intramural league.
This fall I will be majoring in Business with an emphasis on Accounting or Management. I am not too sure yet. I have a feeling that my first couple of years are going to be a time to test the waters. I am looking forward to finding what interests me. College is going to be a great learning experience.
