The Law Library's hours will change tomorrow May 15. The library will close at 4:30 pm on May 15 and be closed May 16-17. Summer hours begin Monday May 18:

Reference Office: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Regular Semester Hours resume on Tuesday Sept. 8. Law students with after hours UCard access will still be able to enter the library 24/7.

Please take note that the Law Library service hours will change over spring break (March 14-22).

The Law Library will be CLOSED Sat-Sun March 14-15 and Friday March 20-Sunday March 22.

UMN Law students will still have 24/7 access to the library through their UCard, but the circ desk and reference office will not be staffed on those days.

Monday March 16 to Thursday March 19 the Library will be OPEN 8 am to 4:30 pm. The Reference Office will be open 9 am to 4:30 pm.

Security monitors will be on duty 3:30-7:30 pm M-Th, with limited coverage each weekend.

Just a quick reminder: The Law Library has resumed regular academic year hours today. Here are the hours the Library and Reference Office are open:

Monday to Thursday : Library is open 8 am to 10 pm Reference Office is open 9 am to 8 pm

Friday: Library is open 8 am to 6 pm Reference Office is open 9 am to 5 pm

Saturday: Library is open 9 am to 6 pm Reference Office is open 11 am to 5 pm

Sunday: Library is open Noon to 6 pm Reference Office is open 1 to 5 pm

The U of MN, Law School and Law Library are open today, August 2, one day after a tragic bridge collapse very close to Mondale Hall. However, the nearest bridge, 10th Ave (aka Cedar Avenue) bridge, is blocked off. If you are planning a trip to the library or building, please take an alternate route.

NOTE: Friday March 16 is a University holiday and the library will be closed.

Despite the many inches of snow, the law library is open today, Friday March 2, until 6 pm and plans to be open regular weekend hours as well. Here are some snowy views from the library.

Due to the hazardous winter weather, the law library is closing at 5:00 pm today, March 1. The entire University is closing at 2:30 pm, but we have extended our hours so that our patrons and visiting Moot Court competition teams from out of town can fully use the library's facilities.

If you need library reserve materials, or other circ desk services, please make sure to visit before we close.

We do not know at this point whether we will be open tomorrow, March 2. Listen to WCCO 830 am radio for updates.
