Run stats:
Rain this morning, and rain this evening, but I ran in dryness midday (well, save for some humidity).
Run stats:
I crested the 450 mile mark today. Cool!
A beautiful day for a pre-lunch run. Now enjoying a turkey sandwich.
Run stats:
It felt fabulous to be back running again in Minneapolis today, especially with the perfect weather. Just stunning. I didn't want to stop.
Then I watched the men's Olympic marathon this evening. It was a sweltering 85°F in Beijing, and Ryan Hall finished a respectable 10th place with 2:12:33, just edging past my marathon PR of 4:43:16 by...2-1/2 hours.
I can take it.
Run stats:
This morning I decided that if I could beat yesterday's time, I would take tomorrow off.
Achieved.
Run stats:
Another lovely morning on the Mickelson Trail. The weather here is incredible: cool and dry in the morning, warm and dry during the day.
I'm not looking forward to the damp mornings in Minneapolis next week, or the sweltering middays.
Run stats:
At 4,979 feet, this is probably the highest run I've done — at least since last summer when running in McCall, Idaho.
A beautiful run on part of the Mickelson Trail, which runs north-south through the Black Hills along an old rail corridor.
Run stats:
Late start, so did my quick route. Sort of quick. Though it's interesting that when I tried to run fast today, my pace was slower than 3 days ago when I wasn't trying to run fast. Hmm…what's up with that?
Run stats:
Funny — I didn't feel this fast.
Run stats:
This Sunday's run was more pleasant that last Sunday's. Very nice, actually. And rather cool.
I'll take it.
Run stats:
I usually don't run two days in a row, but thought I would try it today.
Kind of surprised that I almost knocked a minute off my time. Perhaps it was the granola bar just prior to running; the in-flight refueling probably helped.
Run stats:
Trying to get back into midday runs. A nice day for that.
Run stats:
Wow, do I hate running in the morning. At least, I sure did today.
