First run since vacation. Felt nice! And Minneapolis is still one of the best ever places to run.
Run stats:
The Golden Gate Bridge, enshrouded in a bit of fog. (and it nearly always is!)
This run ended up being quite a story. To be updated later!

...Whereas plants like this just make me wonder, "Is that really a plant?"
Another cool and slightly foggy morning. Running here is heavenly.

Seeing plants like this kinda makes you run a bit faster...
Another cool morning. And a bit foggy.
Run stats:
Looking towards the ocean from Rancho Bernardo.
A blissfully cool run after the two in Arizona! Lovely views, too. But constant hills — the opposite of running in Tempe, where it's flat as a pool table.
Run stats:
Power station.
Seeing this electrical power station makes this route feel similar to my midday routes in Minneapolis that go past the university's power plant.
Run stats:
Running along a canal in Tempe, AZ.
Running in the morning before it gets unbearable. Fortunately, it's a dry heat...

Eric talked me into running tonight. It was a lot of fun — I should do this more.
Run stats:
My longest lunchtime route is this one, to the Hennepin Avenue bridge and back. It's a miniature suspension bridge.
Run stats:
The Minnehaha Creek parkway at Penn Avenue.
Running along Minnehaha Creek is so spectacular. Living in the middle of the metro area, but just blocks from this huge city forest, is quite amazing and I try not to take it for granted.
A few years ago people were really excited about the new Midtown Greenway opening a few miles north of our part of town. But I still think this is the original greenway... and it's far greener. =)
