Weird. The day after my posting in which I (facetiously and rhetorically) suggested banning the Bible, I hear the news story reporting that Republicans are distributing literature claiming that liberals are plotting to ban the Bible. What a bunch of fear-mongering right-wing nutjobs!
If anyone cares, here's what I really think: The Bible shouldn't be banned, and neither should most of the other books that are repeatedly challenged. Like many books, the Bible, should be introduced to children with care, and with context. 'Nuff said.l
