Donald Trump is tied for first place in a Gallup poll of preferences for the Republican party's 2012 presidential nomination.
Trump is tied at 16 percent with former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, the Huffington Post reported.
The poll shows that Trump has less support from Democrats, though. A Gallup employee said Trump leads because he is more well known, but expects the support for the TV mogul to die down, USA Today reported.
Trump said he will announce in June whether he will run for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012.
